- 225 g (8 oz) spaghetti
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 chicken breasts (400 g / 14 oz), chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoons pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 cups (200 g / 7 oz) broccoli florets
- 2 cups (500 ml / 1.1 pints) milk
- 1 cup (125 g / 4.5 oz) grated parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup (25 g / 1 oz) chopped parsley
- 4 strips of streaky bacon
Procedure[edit]
- Boil the spaghetti in water until al dente.
- Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat.
- Cook the chicken in oil for 4 minutes until cooked.
- Add in salt, pepper and garlic and stir.
- Stir in broccoli, then add milk and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add in cheese, parsley and bacon and stir in.
- Drain the pasta under a colander and stir into the chicken sauce.
- Divide the pasta between 4 plates and serve.

Pasta base[edit]
- 115 g (4 oz) spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons butter, plus extra for greasing
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 cup (125 g / 4.5 oz) grated parmesan cheese
Bolognese sauce[edit]
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- ½ onion, chopped
- 225 g (8 oz) ground beef
- 1 can (400 g / 14 oz) chopped tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

- 1 cup (275 g / 9.5 oz) ricotta
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1½ cups (180 g / 6.5 oz) grated mozzarella cheese
Procedure[edit]
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (347°F). Grease a ovenproof dish.
- Break the spaghetti into 5-cm (2-inch) pieces.
- Boil the spaghetti in water until al dente.
- Drain the pasta under a colander and put in a bowl.
- Add a egg, half of the breadcrumbs, and the parmensan cheese to the pasta and mix until combined.
- Pour the pasta mixture into the dish and sprinkle with remaining breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 20 minutes until the top is lightly browned.
- Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat.
- Cook the onion for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the beef and cook, breaking up into pieces, for 7 minutes until browned.
- Remove the fat out of the pan.
- Add the tomatoes and paste to the beef mixture and stir in.
- Add the basil and let it simmer over a low heat while you make the topping.
- Beat together the ricotta, egg and oregano in a bowl until combined.
- Take the pasta out of the oven and pour the ricotta mixture onto the pasta.
- Pour the bolognese sauce on top and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes until the top is browned.
- Slice into 8 segments and serve.

- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ⅓ cup (40 g / 1.5 oz) grated parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup (120 ml / 4 oz) milk

- ½ cup (60 g / 2 oz) grated mozzarella cheese

- Preheat the oven to 190°C (374°F). Cover a baking pan with foil.
- Boil the spaghetti in water until al dente.
- Drain the pasta under a colander and set aside.
- Combine the meatball ingredients in a bowl until combined.
- Cover the sides and bottom of a large bowl with clingflim.
- Put the mixture into the large bowl and press to cover the sides and bottom of the bowl.
- Sprinkle the meatball with cheese and add the spaghetti.
- Seal the meatball and roll into a proper ball shape.
- Put the meatball on the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes until well browned.
- Pour half of the sauce on a plate.
- Take the meatball out of the oven and put it on the plate.
